I discovered this gem in the Multnomah Village area while looking for an all organic cut and color salon. I reviewed the website http://www.fusioncutandcolor.com and was highly impressed by the products they used and the reputation in being an organic salon.
I made an appointment for the next day (this would not be possible at my current salon); it was super easy. The parking was available and I found a relaxing and chemical free enviroment
The stylists were very professional and offered many styling and cutting suggestions. They had a nice stack of mags to look at. I was also offered a free color consult and I booked an appointment (for the next day) ! It was so easy.
I love my color and cut and I had no itching or chemical reactions to the color. The cost was very reasonable and I was in and out within 2 hours.
The best part was the owner ran next door to a cafe and got me lunch while my color was processing.
I highly recomend this salon to anyone who wants a clean fragrance free no chemical enviroment to look and feel wonderful.
I also learned my hair trimmings were being donated to 'Matter of Trust' I guess they will make hair mats out of the clippings. Very Cool!
I left the salon with a pocketful of new ideas and some great samples.
I will be a regualar here and loved meeting the girls of Fusion. They make a great team.

Fusion Cut and Color's New Website
So I discovered Fusion Cut and Color's new website this morning. It's very nice, and well designed by an outfit called Digit13.
I've had both Tamara and Adrienne cut my hair in the past and although the Villager is pretty low maintenance when it comes to hair cutting (for instance, I get "cut" instead of "styled") I should visit Fusion again soon, like today if possible.
Stop by the website, but stop by the shop and get a cut or something - Fusion is a great, friendly asset to the Village!

Tamara has colored my hair twice leaving some of my gray for a more natural look. I was worried she may have trouble matching my color but for Tamara, it was effortless. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxing. I feel very fortunate to have found such a talented stylist! Thank you!

Went in there by accident and they did an excellent job. I'm not the type of guy who cares about my hair about my hair a whole lot, but she kinda made me realize that She took extra care to avoid making my callic not stick up like it inevitably does everytime I get a haircut. She said if everyone's hair did the same thing, it would be boring. "We like callics here." She cut it perfectly. When I asked her about doing a fade & said I'd had it done with clippers she said, "Clippers? If you wanted clippers you can go to Great Clips!" She was really funny. She takes pride in her work and proceeded to feather expertly with scissors. She really enjoyed it and because of that, so did I. It's difficult to cut my hair and cuts are usually an unpleasant chore. Fusion gave me an amazing cut, conversation and a refreshment all for right around $20. Substantial difference than a standard haircut. I'm going back on a regular basis
Both myself and my wife come here for cuts. They do well with haircuts and coloring. Good conversation and located in Multnomah Village so you're close to your next stop of the day anyway! Recommended for anyone who needs a change from getting haircuts from chain locations like Supercuts or Perfect Look.

I absolutely adore Tam & Adrienne!!! They are so personal and make you feel like you are sitting in their back yard having a hair cut by your best friend! Tamara is very current and up to date with her styles and the new and upcoming trends - I wouldn't trust anyone else with my locks...Good service, cozy & professional - you will be happy you finally found a salon you can rely on for years to come!
