Can we justify our love for chocolate?
An Italian Study, published in the
Journal of Nutrition concluded that chocolate — in small doses has some surprisingly positive benefits on top of that hit of sweet sensuous flavor when you bite into a piece.
What you need to know before you nibble.
With good quality, dark chocolate, the magic number here is a cocoa count that is higher than 65 percent.
Dark chocolate is deliciously good for your heart. Before you jump in the car and go looking for Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, there is one word you need to keep in mind: moderation. Don’t go for the whole bar, take a piece or two for the day and enjoy them, really enjoy them. Take it slow — you’ll prolong the indulgent chocolate flavor and satisfy your craving.
